Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run this store: your email if you join The List, your order details if you buy something, and account details if you make an account. We don't sell, rent, or share your data for anyone else's marketing. Ever.

Who we are

Aethelgard is operated by Alexander Wilson (United Kingdom). For any privacy question or request, one address reaches a human: aethelgard.store@gmail.com.

What we collect, and why

• The List (email signup). Your email address, kept with our email provider Brevo, used only to send you new pieces and early access. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
• Orders. When you check out, your name, delivery address, and order contents are shared with our payment processor (Stripe) and our fulfilment partner (Printful) — the people who take payment and make and ship your garment. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; they never touch this site.
• Accounts & wishlists. If you create an account, your sign-in details are held by Clerk, and your saved wishlist is stored on your account so it follows you across devices.
• Your cart. Kept in your own browser only. It isn't uploaded anywhere unless you check out.

Cookies

This site uses only what it needs to function: your session preferences (like the display currency you picked) and your cart. Sign-in uses the cookies it must to keep you logged in. We don't run advertising trackers.

The companies that help us

• Stripe — payments (card data is theirs alone).
• Printful — makes and ships each piece to order, receiving only what's needed to deliver it.
• Brevo — stores The List and sends our emails.
• Clerk — account sign-in, when accounts are enabled.
• Vercel — hosts this website.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from The List at any time from any email. To see, correct, or delete anything we hold about you, email us and we'll sort it promptly. If you're in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data authority — though we'd always rather fix it first.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page.
